The Seligman Center for Advanced Therapeutics offers clinical trials for a wide variety of new drugs in many areas related to musculoskeletal diseases. Active investigation is ongoing for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Antiphospholipid Syndrome, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Osteoporosis. These studies, conducted by a team of experienced rheumatologists, an endocrinologist, and research nurses, provide free treatment for eligible patients. Current Research Projects:

• Research Trial for Osteoarthritis: A trial to test if ketotop (a topical plaster containing ketoprofen 30 mg) is safe and effective in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee.
   
• Research Trial for Osteoarthritis of the knee: A trial to test if risedronate 5 and 15mg a day or 50mg a week is safe and effective in slowing the progression of osteoarthritis of the knee.
   
• Trial for Osteoarthritis of both Knees
